Ann Demeulemeester

In the mid-1980s, Belgian fashion designer Ann Demeulemeester was part of the legendary avant-garde group of the Antwerp Six. She launched her eponymous label in 1985 in collaboration with her husband, photographer Patrick Robyn. Her style, influenced by Japanese fashion and Gothic aesthetics, is characterised by an unmistakable mix of romanticism and dark attitude.
